What is rented, where it hashes, what the network looks like, and why the engine rents or waits.

| No rental has fired. The budget is accumulating from creator fees and will rent the first rig when it clears the minimum. | ||||||||||||
A rental never fires on a timer. It fires when a creator fee claim lands and pushes the dig budget above the provider's minimum rental for the cheapest suitable RandomX listing, and only if the profitability ratio clears one. The ratio is the pool's realised XMR per megahash per day over the marketplace's price in XMR per megahash per day. Below one the engine would be paying more for hashes than they return, so it waits, and the budget keeps accumulating.
The fee claim itself is the trigger. Pump.fun lets the creator claim accumulated creator fees in SOL. The engine's claim transaction is the first row of every rental record. There is no epoch, no snapshot schedule, and no scheduled run anywhere in the system.
The claimed SOL is posted as a single NEAR intent, SOL in and XMR out, with the tunnel Monero wallet as the recipient. Solvers quote, the best fill wins, and the realised spread in basis points is written down. A fill under fifty basis points rents the next rig tier up. A fill over two hundred rents the minimum tier.
The rig is pointed at the pool with the worker list from the snapshot. The engine then polls the pool's public per worker API and writes live hashrate and valid shares into the worker rows. The depth of each lamp on the shaft is those valid shares.
